BASI Trainer and Assessor
BA French Literature
TEFL English Language Teacher
Born in Glasgow my love of the mountains began in the 80’s whilst
at Stirling Uni. but was mainly restricted to walking up them till I
put on some planks. Soon I was working as a resort rep in Val d’Isère.
I gained my BASI Diploma in four years whilst teaching in Italy and
was selected as a BASI Trainer in 2003. I have lived in Courchevel since
2000 working mainly with Skivolution, running performance courses, Gap
Year programmes and regular ski school. I am proud to say all my full-time
trainees were successful last year! In summer I work as a freelance
project manager and look after our 5yr old son.
Previous lives: Immigration Officer, Pontins Lifeguard.
